We had the pleasure to interview Kristy Jensen from “The Amazing Race 6.” She tells us what Phil is really like, what she thought of Jonathan and Victoria, where the teams go once their eliminated, and much more! You may remember Kristy and her sister Lena from the hay challenge where they were unrolling hay for about nine hours, before Phil told them they had been eliminated.

Kristy: It was kind of a trickle effect for me; I wasn’t the one who initially auditioned for the race, my sister did with my oldest brother. They made it through a couple of rounds of the interviews, and they loved Lena but didn’t really have the need for a male-female team. They then asked her if she knew any girl that she was herself around and was just as entertaining with. Lena mentioned me, so that is kind of how I sort of got thrown into the whole mix.

Reality Reel: So you weren’t in the audition tape then?

Kristy: No, actually I sent one in a couple seasons ago for Survivor, and so they already had a tape of me.

Reality Reel: What are your thoughts on Phil, and did you get to spend any time with him during or after the race?

Kristy: Yeah, at the pit stops when we were eating dinner Phil would show up and mingle with us. Also a couple of times we saw Phil up in first class when we were heading to the back of an airplane, hanging out and loving life.

Reality Reel: So he was on the same plane on you sometimes?

Kristy: Yeah a couple times we saw him on the plane, most of the time we didn’t see him. Phil was very likeable, he didn’t socialize a whole lot, and he kept his distance some of the time. Phil gave everyone their few minutes, as all the teams wanted to talk with him. He is very likeable and nice, much better looking in person. Phil is a cute guy.
